Who we are
We are a team of wellness warriors who understands what it's like to struggle with mental health. We know firsthand that finding strength through struggle isn't a straight road, but we're also living proof that the perseverance to persist and thrive through a mental health challenge exists in all of us.
We're here to support you as you tap into that power, encourage you to keep going, and remind you that it can get better, one day at a time.

"What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation.”
- Glenn Close
Why it matters
A few reasons:
Mental health problems among youth are common, affecting approximately 1 in 5 teenagers, and approximately 1 in 3 young adults (ages 18-25) in the U.S. Exacerbated by structural and social barriers to accessing care, these problems impact marginalized groups and economically-disadvantaged communities at higher rates.
Mental health challenges can interrupt developmental milestones surrounding school, work, and independent living, for example, and have profound lifetime effects as a result.
Quality care is effective. Evidence-based therapies (in conjunction with medication if needed) have been shown to improve symptoms, increase quality of life, and decrease hospitalization for a range of mental health conditions.
